Today, an individual's privacy is defined digitally,
within the framework of an extensive societal information network.
'1000 Deathclock in Paris' constructs a new network within the existing one,
one that is driven by the willed actions of individual participants, not the logic of generalized social control.

The artwork, the network, is formed by the accumulation of each individual's awareness of 'real life' as it is determined within the fixed bounds of each our own life's limits.
